About Me

Early Life

My real name is Brodie Griffiths. I was born in the bustling city of Derby on March 23rd, 2008. I was never raised religiously, making me agnostic since I've always believed in science. I found school in Derby very difficult, as the staff there were treating me very unfairly. I would eventually move north to the quiet town of Belper in 2014, and school there wasn't as bad but still very difficult, that's when I found out I had autism, which was also hinted by my hyperfixations on things like logos and Thomas and Friends.

My YouTube career

I would officially start uploading to YouTube in 2015, on my now-deleted ALMI TV VGCP channel. After the ALMI TV VGCP channel got terminated on July 14th, 2016, I started uploading on the BBC Media TV channel (now owned by my younger brother), which I abandoned on April 27th, 2019. I remained without a YouTube channel before my current channel, Laotian 12 in Numberverse, was created on September 24th, 2019, and I have been uploading there ever since.

How I became an Object Show fan

I first became aware of BFDI and Inanimate Insanity whilst using Scratch back in 2014. In May of 2023, I began watching BFDI and became a fan of it, having previously until that point been a fan of Learningblocks and later Alphabet/Number Lore. The first object show meetup I attended was in April of 2026, when I attended the OSC London Hangout in Shoreditch. The first time I went to a BFDI-II meetup was in August of that year, when I attended the London stop of the tour.
